it is about the repression of nightmarish experience, child molestation, but then it is also about courage and hope. an engaging movie indeed.
there are types of pain one never heals from, ours is one of these. this doesn't prevent us from walking with our heads high and our feet on the ground. a scar is an indelible mark, not an illness we can take back the life we thought was stolen from us, even if, to do so, we had to erase the memories of the children we were. daniele. la bestia nel cuore.
ps. yesterday i watched driving lesson. another movie that i like a lot. especially the music, salsa celtica. vibrant!
