i have been wrong. i thought you were lured into something that drew your attention away from me, something that somehow, someway i dreaded to be someone. yes. a friend who is much better of a friend to you than i am to you. i was jealous. i even hated you for my feeling so unloved. i missed your usual constant attention. really. but i know now. i have been wrong. i have just realized that it must have been hard for you too. to draw your boundaries. to walk away. leaving me to learn to stand on my own.
