during my travel to malacca last week, i visited melaka sultanate palace. it cost me 2 ringgit only. when i paid for the entrance ticket, i was handed a plastic bag with the sultanate palace logo on it.

it's for your shoes, the entrance ticket attendant said.

yup! we have to take off our shoes or sandal before entering the wooden palace and the plastic bag comes handy. we can carry our shoes or sandals around. neat, eh?

not to mention, great relief for the mind. you know, leaving our shoes outside? unattended?

pic is from here.

Sama kayak di mangkunegaran solo, dikasih kresek buat alas kaki. Bekas pula! Jadi minimal-waste dan eco-friendly.
