benang stokel : rejuvenating journey

.. it is said that the water is beneficial to preserve youthfulness.
our expression must have communicated something that our driver said, well, it's really up to us to believe it or not.

we were passing narmada natural spring of water area when the conversation took place.

preserving youthfulness? let's say we were a bit skeptical about it. but that was only until we arrived in benang stokel waterfall.

after around 45 minutes ride from senggigi, we found ourselves in front of lush green woods of benang stokel waterfall area. the cool breeze and the naturally canopied area (thanks to those big trees!) made the climbing down walk to the waterfall less distressing to our urban feet!

our skepticism about youthfullness preserving water was gone the moment we touched the cool water from the two waterfalls! if the water in narmada is as refreshing as this one, there is no doubt at all about the preserving youthfulness thingy.

man! just how cool and refreshing the water is!

on our way back to the place where we parked our car, i was asked by a couple of young men to take pictures of them jumping to the water underneath. oh my! they are a couple of daredevils! such a highlight to our visit to this mesmerizing waterfall!

eeerrr.. you still wonder if we did wash our face with the water, didn't you? hehehehe ... you bet we did! too bad we cannot swim as the water is only 30 centimeter deep. imagine just how youthful we are if we spend hours swimming like what we do in any water in lombok! hahahahahaha ...
