do you still remember the lesson back then in high school about tongue and taste buds? those five types of tastes? salty? sour? sweet? bitter? umami? do you?have you ever tasted something that is sweet at first but gradually turns bitter?
hmm.
reminds me of revenge. yes. revenge.
guess it's normal to at times have a will to revenge. human people say.
but wait!
imagine someone has somehow hurt you and you want to take revenge. a pay back. that the very individual will feel what you feel. aha! you are so absorbed with efforts to get back.
you carefully plan and execute this and that. at first it may taste sweet. revenge is. at first. knowing that your enemy suffers from what you have previously gone through.
but then when you get so absorbed with the revenge, you are clouded with nothing but darkness. you think nothing but to get even. so into the revenge thing that you keep shooting at your enemy, not considering ricochet that may hurt others. for you think of nothing but yourself. you know the world does not revolve only for any particular of us, don't you?
then the tongue and taste buds rules come into place.
you realize that the sweet is starting to erode. and you start to taste bitterness. you start to see that your revenge has made people other than your considered enemy suffer. well at least they lost the usual you, didn't they?
but the victim that suffers most is yourself. the intense emotion has turned you bitter. block your logic. see, you are hurt at the first place, that is one thing. then you take revenge and your turn bitter, that is second thing. and many more may follow.
do you want to lose more than once?

Of course not. Although I am completely aware that revenge can only hurts me more, but the dark side of me cannot be satifsfied until I know that I am bringing the person down with me.
I need to grow up..I know..
